Hello Everyone i have been trying my darnest to get this circuit working, but have only managed to get the

displays reading contantly from 0 – 99999 . with frequency connected it still does not do anything but count to 99999

your help would be great!

you have to stop counting after 1 sec period otherwise it will always count from 0 to 99999

check your IC555 circuit and CD4033 connections
