L  = [d2 n2] / [18d + 40l]

 

  •      –    L  is the inductance in Micro Henries [µH]
  •      –    d   is the diameter of the coil in inches.
  •      –     l   is the length of the coil specified in inches.
  •      –    n   is the number of turns.

decide the diameter and lenght you wabt for your coil and accordingly calculate the no. of turns.
