Situation:

A roller in textile machine is rotating with various frequency, we use inductive proximity to generate a signal per resolution. Therefore on the dia of the roller small metal piece is attached to come infront of sensor and generate signal.

the sensor generates

5vdc object detected and 0vdc when not detected

“”

Now this rotating roller has two attributes: 1. what is the dia of roller (take 12inch) & 2. how fast or at what frequency it is moving (use tachcometer).

Objective:

Program MC to read i/p signal from proximity (low-to-high pulse)-increase in rotation will increase in pulses. the o/p signal should be generated when roller is rotating in the range of 3.8khz to 4.1khz frequecy,

<3.8khz o/p of MC should be 0vdc

>4.1khz o/p of MC should be 5vdc

Looking forward for your earliest reply, I would appreciate the coding in assembly and if more discription is required then your are wellcome.

Regards

Umair
