Send the link from where you have learn the max 232 ckt (you said on this site send the link of that page)

 

just short the of max 232 instead of connecting it to controller… it that works then you MAX is perfect…

 

what is the value of capcitor you have connected … have you checked each and every connections properly specially the +ve and the -ive part of capacitor
