Hi,

Why don’t you use the digital output from the sensor? I learned from the datasheet that it can be configured for sensing an object at a particular range and produce a high or low output.

 

Anyway, if your ADC is 10bit and the reference voltage is 5V, then theoritically you can have a change in digital output for an increase in every 5/1024 volts. ie. almost 0.005V.
