hi
i have to interface a 4*4or atleast a 4*3 matrix keypad with 89c52 and i want to display whatever key is pressed by the keypad on the lcd(20*4). i tried the code from the example projects on this site for keypad scanning as well as that for alphanumeric keypad. for both of them, the lcd shows in valid values with as well as without pressing any key i.e. it is not detecting any key press at all. (this all is happening on proteus, i haven’t tried it on hardware yet). i tried to patch the circuit on proteus exactly as it was shown on this site as well as in some other ways but got the same results. Kindly help me, i need urgent help. if you could provide me c code for keypad and lcd interfaced with 89c52 along with the proteus design i would be really grateful
