Hi there

I do not think that without including neutral you can detect a zero crossing; I mean neutral is the thing which helps in identifying whether a wave has reached zero crossing position or not, so how could one detect the same without using any reference voltage.

I might be wrong as well, but this is what my knwoledge says. Also, do let me know once you figure it out how to do it without a neutral.
