Hi Suri

Yes it is possible to convert vibrations into electrical voltages using sensors like peizo, etc. but the problem lies in the amount of voltage they produce. They generally produce really small amount of voltages and you would need extra circuitry to store it. Scientists and researchers have developed such platforms which produce energy just from people walking over them.
