I'm no circuitician, but using   F=1/2pi*sqrt(L*C)   I'm getting a frequency generation of 475.566MHZ to 619.509MHz with this diagram….which doesn't even cover the seldom used 450MHz band anymore.

 

To get to 1930-1990MHz it seems you would need more like a 200ph inductor in combo with the 30pF tunable cap.
