Its very interesting and useful project. I’ve an idea, I dont know if it is practical or not.
Is it possible to use a simple capacitive sensing ?? Modify the two plates, so that it will slightly bend away from each other at one end depending on the rate of flow, and thus varying the capacitence measured at another fixed end.
